Remember feeling like this image; literally drowning in
stress. I say remember, because we have all had those moments when you feel completely taken over by a stressful scenario. Learning how to relieve the stress of those moments is the key, and some stress relief solutions are not complicated at all.
One of the easiest ways to relieve stress is through aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is very easy to do, and the relief it can provide is close to amazing. You can use candles, oils, incents, anything that produces a pleasing, relaxing scent to your sensibilities. Candles and incents work “ok,” but for the best results use Essential Oils. Nothing beats the power and impact of true Essential Oils. If the product says “fragrance,” that’s not a true Essential Oil. The pure scent of Essential Oils is incredibly soothing. The favorite for stress relief is the lavender scent, but others can work just as well. The key is using a diffuser. You can enjoy the scent of the Essential Oils in a diffuser at its purest state, and unlike candles or incents, you can control the strength of the scent by putting in as little or as much of the Essential Oil as you desire. I tend to go heavy on the oils in my diffuser. The aroma permeates the room, lingers in the air, and eases stress by allowing your body to relax and let go. It’s really fantastic. Give it a try if you’re looking for a fast, simple and highly effective way to relieve your stress.
To Your Health!

It’s true. Aromatherapy is great for stress.
One quick trick I use is to put a drop or two of essential oil into the pool of hot wax in my pillar candles. You need a pretty fat candle for this or else the essential oil burns off too quickly.
I also made my own aromatherapy diffuser reeds using essential oils. I’ve posted the recipe at http://www.easy-aromatherapy-recipes.com/aromatherapy-diffuser-reeds.html
It was fun to experiment, and the results were great!
